Using wooden planters to hide unsightly bins January 6, 2019 14:35

There are different ways of hiding unsightly bins, but a couple of our customers have used wooden planters with trellises to hide their bins. The first picture is of a customer who liked our block style planters with spaces inbetween and asked us to make a corner planter version with a trellis painted in Cuprinol's Urban Slate. Although there are mass manufacturers out there that make trough wooden planters with spaces between the rows, I believe this is the only corner planter in the country in this style,

A customer moved into a new home that had the following wooden planter in their garden,

It was rotting and falling apart so they asked me if I could make a copy. I made the following wooden planter with marine plywood panels and painted in Farrow and Ball's Railings, what do you think?

Hexagonal wooden planters delivered over Christmas 2018 January 1, 2019 12:34

The aim of this blog, started on the 1st January 2019 three years after we first opened, is to give potential customers an idea of what we are about, showing that we are a real business making and delivering wooden planters every week.

These two hexagonal wooden planters in the Aston style, over a metre wide and stained with Wickes' Warm Oak, were delivered to a home in a lovely mews road in West London over the Christmas 2018 period. The customer wanted to put a couple of large Olive trees in the planters and I think the aim was to use these large wooden planters as a traffic calming method.
